Booking Cancellation Policy
The deadline for free cancellation is at 12:00PM  AEST on the 7th day before check-in date.
If a booking is cancelled after the deadline (or in case of a no-show), the cancellation fee will be the total price of the booking.
This Policy applies only to room bookings made directly with Silo Motor Inn. Significantly different policies may apply to big and/or long-term bookings, and peak-season reservations. If you’ve received a booking confirmation or agreement from our motel, the terms and conditions listed there take precedence.
Any change to a room reservation that results in a later check-in date (by one or more days) or an earlier check-out date (by one or more days) will be considered a (partial) cancellation of the original booking.

 Payment terms
Booking payment(s) is/are due at 12:00 PM AEST on the 7th day before check-in date, and must be settled by the due time.
A valid credit card or prepaid deposite is required to secure a room booking. The provided card may be charged the total reservation amount at any time after the free cancellation deadline. This card may also be used for any additional costs incurred during guests’ stay, including but not limited to breakages, damages, or cleaning charges beyond normal levels. If the card is invalid or the payment cannot be successfully processed, we reserve the right to cancel the reservation at any time.
When guests checking in, full payment is required before handing over room key.
We accept Cash, Visa Card, Mastercard, American Express, EFTPOS and Direct Deposit. Please note that a 3.00% surcharge applies to payment by American Express, a 1.85% surcharge applies to payment by Mastercard and Visa card.
All invoices that are more than 7 days overdue will result in a 15% late payment fee, unless a prior arrangement has been made.

Guest Comfort
We kindly ask all guests to refrain from parties or gathering and to keep noise to minimum levels. Televisions, voices or other devices must be kept at a respectful low level at all times. Excessive noise may result in being asked to leave the Motor Inn without a refund. After 9:00 pm, we request unregistered visitors to leave to ensure a peaceful environment. Please be considerate of other guests and respect our neighbors throughout your stay. Disturbing others is strictly prohibited, and we greatly appreciate your cooperation in this matter.

– Breakages, Damage, Theft and Loss
During your stay, guests are responsible for any damages, breakages, theft, or loss that may occur. The Owners/Management cannot be held accountable for guests’ personal belongings. Guests are responsible for any damage caused to the property or its contents, resulting from their actions or the actions of their invitees. Additional charges for laundering or replacing linens will apply in case of stains or damage.

In Cases of Room Degradation
A $200 cleaning fee will be applied in cases of room degradation, including incidents involving bodily wastes or vomit. Additionally, any professional floor cleaning charges will be passed on at cost.
Furthermore, a daily room tariff will be charged, equivalent to the standard rate, or an agreed-upon rate based on current business demand, until the room is restored to a sellable condition.

– No smoking
Strictly NO smoking policy applies to each room, ashtrays are provided outside your room. Smoking in rooms incurs a cleaning fee of $200, even if the guest has departed. Please close room door whilst smoking outdoor.

– No pet
Due to health regulations, no pet is permitted in any of the rooms or dining areas of this motel. A $200 penalty will apply.

– Key return
Please turn off the airconditioner & lights, close all windows and lock door upon departure. If you are going to leave your room for more than 1 hour during your stay, please do the same.
Return the room key upon check-out. For early departures, there is a key drop box by the reception door, monitored by cameras. Kindly avoid leaving the key in the room to prevent any misunderstandings about its return. Failure to return the key will result in a replacement fee of $185. Thank you for your cooperation.
